Olive squalene

Squalane is a naturally occurring anti-ageing component of the skin. Your skin produces less as you age, but luckily it can be replenished by adding it into your skincare routine. It moisturises and encourages your skin to balance natural oil production.

Jojoba oil

Jojoba oil is a liquid wax and a natural occlusive agent, which moisturises, nourishes and protects your skin. Jojoba oil is a similar consistency to your skin's natural oils, making it a great option for oily skin as it helps to regulate sebum (oil) production and is non-comedogenic (meaning it won't clog your pores).

NZ gotu kola

Works to deeply brighten your skin, while reducing pigmentation over time. Its a powerful antioxidant, which fights off free radical damage.

Glycerin

I'm not sure if you know this, but Glycerin is sourced from organic coconut oil (yes, organic). It's a humectant that prevents water loss in your skin to keep it hydrated and moisturised for longer (AKA dream skin).

Shea butter

Shea butter is a super nourishing ingredient that moisturises and smooths dry and irritated skin. It creates a protective barrier to lock in hydration.

NZ Grape Seed Extract

Antioxidant-rich grape seed extract, sourced as a byproduct of the Marlbourugh wine industry, defends against UV* free radical damage plus improves skin elasticity and firmness. *Not an SPF.

Sunflower seed oil

Sunflower seed oil is rich in both linoleic and oleic acids, and Vitamin E. It easily penetrates your skin for deep moisturising and reduces inflammation. Antioxidant properties fight signs of ageing caused by free radical damage.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a fatty acid and an antioxidant so it is doubly nourishing for the skin. It protects against free radical damage, fights inflammation and boosts skin healing.

Aqua

The main carrier of the balm, used as the base as a solvent, which is what the other ingredients dissolve into to create the formula. This formulation used a lot less water than our other water-based products to give it a heavier buttery consistency.

Fragrance

Infused with Tailor's iconic scent with notes of vanilla, green and floral. Our fragrance is a bespoke blend of extracts of essential oil chosen for their relaxing and soothing properties. All the ingredients in our fragrance are derived from natural sources, as essential oils can be quite active on the skin and it's important to us we made sure our fragrance is gentle.

Yes, vegan, cruelty-free, and absolutely NO animal testing (we don’t even ask our pets if our skin looks nice).

It can take up to 4 weeks of using Oil Cleanse as per our recommended routine, before you notice results. But! Our customers report seeing a difference the next day!
